The pedal reproduces the character of the Roland SDE-3000, including its modulation and the saturation behaviour of the original's analog stages. The panel carries Time, Feedback, Level, Depth, Rate, Hi Cut and Offset knobs. Modulation has separate Rate and Depth controls, and Hi Cut shapes the high end of the repeats.
The Offset knob adds a second delay line. In the first half of its range the second delay is 1–100 ms longer than the primary. In the second half it sets a shorter delay that sweeps between eighth-note and dotted-eighth values based on the tapped tempo. Maximum delay time is 800 ms in mono or stereo, or 1600 ms in mono. Output options include mono, panning stereo, discrete stereo, wet/dry and dry mute.
Tap tempo is available from the pedal switch, and a Carryover switch is fitted. The TRS MIDI input receives clock sync. The CTL/EXP jack accepts up to two footswitches, for tap tempo and hold, or an expression pedal that can control Level, Feedback and Time. Power comes from a 9 V battery or a PSA series adaptor, sold separately.
