The Switchblade Plus is a mono, analog switching box with one input and two outputs, A and B. Two footswitches choose where the signal goes: one toggles between output A and output B, the other sends the signal to both outputs together. Each state is shown by an LED, with red for A and green for B.
A dedicated tuner jack is wired directly to the input, so a tuner or another effects pedal connected there receives the signal whatever the switching state. The audio path is fully passive, and the LEDs are the only active part of the circuit. That makes the unit usable for swapping between two amps, two pedalboards or two effect chains.
It connects with standard jacks: instrument or pedal into the input, and amplifiers or further pedals on outputs A and B. Power for the LEDs comes from an optional 9V battery or a 9.6VDC 200mA adapter, which is not included.
