The SPL-150 is a powered subwoofer with a 15-inch Spun Copper Cerametallic woofer, positioned as the largest model in the SPL Series. The enclosure is bass-reflex, tuned through a front-firing internal flare port, which gives more freedom in where the cabinet can be placed in a room.
A high-efficiency Class D amplifier drives the woofer, delivering 400 W RMS with 800 W peak output. The cabinet has an Ebony scratch-resistant finish, a woven cloth grille held by steel grille posts, and shock-absorbing rubber feet. It measures 21.75 x 18.75 x 24 inches.
For connectivity, the subwoofer is compatible with the Klipsch WA-2 Wireless Kit, which allows a wireless link to a compatible receiver or transmitter. A spec sheet and a product manual are available from the maker for further technical detail.
