MC 90X
A moving-coil phono cartridge with a stainless-steel SLM body, Replicant 100 diamond on a boron cantilever and a neodymium magnet system with a field stabilizing element. It is a reworking of the earlier MC A90 for vinyl listeners who want a high-end MC.

The MC 90X is a low-output moving-coil cartridge built around a body made by Selective Laser Melting from stainless steel. The material adds rigidity and brings the cartridge to 9.5 grams, which suits a wider range of turntables and tonearms.
The stylus is an Ortofon Replicant 100 diamond with a 5/100 μm tip radius, mounted on a boron cantilever. Coils are wound with Aucurum wire. The magnet system uses a compact neodymium magnet together with a Field Stabilizing Element, a small conductive cylinder that keeps the magnetic field steady as the armature moves and is intended to improve channel separation and reduce dynamic distortion.
Damping is handled by the Wide Range Damping system, a platinum disc between two rubber absorbers of different properties. The rubber compounds are developed and made by Ortofon in-house. The cartridge uses a half-inch mount and is rated for 2.3 g tracking force with a 0.25 mV output.
