The DDJ-SR is a 2-channel controller designed around Serato DJ Pro. It shares several performance features with the larger 4-channel DDJ-SX2, including a built-in Serato sound card, large jog wheels and Slip Mode, in a smaller and lighter body.
Rubber performance pads trigger Hot Cue, Roll, Sampler and Slicer, and the Pad Plus function adds a further layer with Hot Cue/Sampler Roll, Combo FX and Trans Pad. Dedicated buttons handle FX and functions such as Beat Jump, Slip mode and Quantize. Slip Mode keeps the track running silently in the background during loops, scratches or reversals, then returns to the correct position when the jog wheel is released. The jog wheels are low-latency and feature an aluminium top.
The unit connects to a PC or Mac over a single USB cable, which also powers it. It can also control rekordbox dj software with a rekordbox dj licence key activated.
