Beatmix 2 MK2

The Beatmix 2 MK2 is a two-deck controller built around Serato DJ Lite, which is included. Each channel has a 3-band EQ, a gain control and a line fader, and there is a crossfader between them. Slim touch-sensitive jog wheels with aluminium platters (14.4 cm) handle beat matching and track searching. The transport section has stutter and sync controls, a 14-bit pitch fader with pitch bend buttons, and quick-skip for moving through a track.

Sixteen rubberised, colour-coded 3 cm pads cover hot cues, loops, loop lengths and samples. A split mode lets cue and sampler functions run together, and a dedicated fader sets the sampler volume. Two FX units, each with three rotary controls and an endless encoder, run iZotope effects inside Serato, with up to three effects combined and adjustable FX quantization.

The unit connects to a computer over USB and draws its power from that connection. Its integrated audio interface provides a stereo RCA master output, two headphone outputs (3.5 mm and 6.3 mm) and a 6.3 mm microphone input with its own volume control. ASIO drivers are available for Windows, and the controller is MIDI-ready for other DJ software.
