Aprašymas

The TR-09 models the TR-909's hybrid sound, with analog-style kick, snare and toms plus sampled hi-hats and cymbals, using Roland's ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology. Each voice keeps its own knobs, such as tune, level, attack and decay, and a compressor is included. The front panel is metal and the layout follows the original.

Patterns are programmed in the classic TR-REC style, using either Step or Tap write mode. The sequencer has 16 steps, each with 16 sub-steps, and the write and play modes can be switched while a pattern keeps running. Shuffle/Flam is set from buttons or, for finer control, from the display and rotary encoder. Memory holds 96 patterns and 8 tracks.

For connections, the unit has a stereo mini-jack output, a headphone jack, a stereo mix input, a trigger output for vintage or modular gear, MIDI in and out, and a Micro-B USB port. Over USB it works as an audio interface with four separate outputs and also carries MIDI and data backup. Power comes from 4 AA batteries or USB bus power.
