The Blink500 ProX is a compact wireless microphone set built around clip-on transmitters and a small receiver that plugs straight into the recording device. Each transmitter has a built-in omnidirectional microphone and can also be worn as a belt-pack with the supplied lavalier microphone. An OLED display shows transmitter status, and the TXR transmitter can record audio onboard as a backup.
The system works on the 2.4 GHz band and automatically hops to free channels to limit noise and dropouts, with an operating range of up to 100 meters. The receiver offers selectable mono or stereo output, so two transmitters can be recorded on separate channels. Setup requires no menus or technical settings.
A charging case stores the units and powers them on the move, and the case itself is charged over USB-C. The receiver comes in three connection versions: USB-C, Lightning and 3.5 mm TRS for cameras. Each version is offered with either one or two transmitters.
