The CX7 pairs two satellite speakers with a ported 8-inch (203 mm) subwoofer in all-wood cabinets. Each satellite has a 3.5-inch mid-range driver and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter with a 2-way crossover. Total output is 12 W x 2 for the satellites plus 45 W RMS for the bass.
Two Class-D digital amplifiers handle the power, with speaker equalization and dynamic range compression (DRC) applied in the signal chain. A standalone console with a waisted shape carries the full control panel and a display that shows the current status. A remote control offers the same functions.
Sources connect through a PC input, AUX, USB drive, SD card or Bluetooth V5.0. The system measures 425 x 450 x 335 mm (W x H x D).
