The DS1200 is a sealed-cabinet subwoofer built around two 12-inch woofers with sandwich aluminum cones and HEX surrounds. Its amplifier uses BASH topology and is rated at 1200 W RMS and 2400 W peak into 4 ohms. Anechoic response runs from 17 Hz to 150 Hz, and in-room response is stated as 14 Hz to 150 Hz, with a maximum output of 118 dB SPL at 1 m anechoic.
DSP processing manages extension, output and control, and the sub includes Auto EQ. Settings are handled through a Bluetooth Low Energy app for iOS and Android. The low-pass crossover is adjustable from 40 Hz to 150 Hz, and standby consumption is under 2.0 W.
For connections it provides RCA line-level, balanced and speaker-level inputs, a 12 V trigger input, a USB port for firmware updates and an Ethernet port for third-party control systems. It comes in a gloss black finish and ships with a grille, an AC power cord and spikes. The cabinet weighs 37.9 kg.
