The Wailer Wah is a mono, analog wah pedal that carries over the sound of the Crying Tone Wah into a lighter, sturdier enclosure. It uses a traditional rack-and-pinion mechanism to move the rocker, and it switches in and out with true bypass.
The pedal weighs just over 1.5 pounds, which is lighter than most well-known wah pedals and helps on a crowded pedalboard. It draws 6mA and runs from the 9V battery supplied with it. An optional 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter can be used instead, but it is not included.
Connection is simple: the guitar or other instrument goes into the input jack, and the output jack connects to an amplifier. The pedal was released in 2016 and was discontinued in 2025.
