The M-Track Duo HD is a 2-in/2-out USB-C audio interface that records at up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Its two combo inputs accept microphone, instrument or line-level sources, and the preamps provide up to 55 dB of gain. Switchable +48V phantom power covers studio condenser microphones.
Controls are kept to the essentials. A Direct/USB monitor switch sets what is heard at the output, and the headphone output has its own level control. The unit runs from USB bus power in a small, rugged enclosure that weighs 0.36 kg, so it fits into a backpack for location recording.
It connects over USB-C to modern Mac, PC, iOS and Android devices and works with popular DAWs. A 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable is included, along with the Producer Essentials software bundle, which has Ableton Live Lite, MPC Beats, AIR instruments and effects, and a two-month Splice subscription.
