The DJ 2 Go is a small MIDI controller that puts the basic controls for two-deck mixing in front of a laptop DJ. It has a crossfader, a jog wheel and a pitch fader for each deck, and controls for browsing the music library without touching the mouse. Tracks are loaded to Deck A or Deck B from a compatible DJ application.
It is class compliant, so it works with Mac OS X, iOS and Windows without a driver. It works with most MIDI-capable DJ software, including Virtual DJ, Traktor, djay and PCDJ, and it comes with Virtual DJ LE Lite. Virtual DJ Pro, Traktor, djay and PCDJ are sold separately.
A single USB cable both powers the unit and carries the control data to the computer. The unit is small enough to fit in a laptop bag or backpack, which suits minimalist setups and use as a backup controller.
