The wafer2-iw is an in-wall loudspeaker that brings the Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass-loading approach from the maker's studio monitors into a shallow installation cabinet. The H-Line interior divides the enclosure into a long chamber lined with acoustic treatment, which extends bass from a compact box and limits rear leakage, so no back box or cavity treatment is needed.

Two 27mm soft-dome tweeters use Twin Tweeter (TT) technology with steerable image techniques, allowing the speaker to be mounted above or below ear level without limiting performance. A structured, absorbent StealthBaffle surface reduces reflections from the front baffle and the surrounding wall or ceiling. It can be fitted in a wall or ceiling, sits virtually flush, and has a slim grille and frame that can be painted to match the decor.

Connection is via one pair of sprung and 4mm sockets, with a recommended amplifier power of 10 to 200W into 8 ohms. A mounting template, manual, drawing and brochure are available for download. Registering the product within 10 days of purchase extends the warranty to 20 years, subject to terms.
