The RP-2000M is a fully manual, two-speed turntable that plays records at 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. Its quartz-controlled direct-drive motor passes power straight to the platter collar rather than through a belt, and the starting torque is stated as above 1000 g/cm. A start button and an electronic motor brake handle starting and stopping.
The chassis is metal and the build is described as especially heavy, with shock-absorbing feet to reduce vibration. The tonearm is an S-shaped, statically balanced pick-up arm, and a wheel-away needle illumination lights the stylus. Pitch can be shifted by ±10%.
For external control, the deck can be connected to a remote starter and to a beatcounter. A Reloop OM black cartridge, a headshell and a slipmat are supplied with it. The unit measures 450 x 144 x 352 mm and weighs 6.8 kg.
