The RSP-15 is a passive two-way PA speaker built around a 38 cm (15") woofer and a 1" compression driver, with a frequency range of 45 Hz to 20 kHz. It is rated at 200 W RMS (400 W maximum) and 97 dB acoustic pressure into 8 ohms. The voicing is aimed at heavy-bass material such as hip hop, techno, house and breaks.
The woofer uses a hard suspension and a Kapton voice-coil former, and the high-range horn has thermal overload protection. An integrated crossover splits the signal between the drivers. The cabinet is covered in road-oriented carpeting and has protective metal corners, metal carrying shells and a robust front grille. A sunk-in metal flange allows mounting on a speaker stand.
The speaker connects with a standard PA speaker cable or a 6.3 mm jack cable. It measures 730 x 450 x 440 mm and weighs 27.5 kg. The RSP-15 belongs to a series that also includes smaller speakers, a floor monitor, a subwoofer and the larger RSP-30.
