Mopho SE is a discontinued 44-note, semi-weighted keyboard version of the Mopho monophonic analog synthesizer. It suits players who want a portable mono analog synth with two oscillators, a Curtis filter and a step sequencer.

Mopho SE pairs a fully analog mono voice with a 44-note keyboard that responds to velocity and aftertouch. The voice has two oscillators with hard sync, two sub-octave generators, a noise source, a switchable 2- or 4-pole Curtis low-pass filter, an analog VCA and a feedback loop with programmable level and gain. Three delay-plus-ADSR envelopes and four LFOs handle modulation, and a 16 x 4 gated step sequencer and an arpeggiator are built in.
All parameters can be edited from the front panel. Memory holds 3 banks of 128 programs, 384 in total. External audio can be routed through the voice and filter, and the filter can be frequency-modulated at audio rate for metallic tones. Separate glide rates are available per oscillator, and the pitch and mod wheels can be assigned freely.
For connections there are USB, MIDI In, Out/Thru and Poly Chain ports. Poly Chain lets a Mopho, Tetra or Prophet '08 add voices, and up to three Tetras can be chained for 13 voices in total. Audio goes out through unbalanced stereo 1/4" jacks, with a headphone output, an audio input and sustain and expression pedal inputs.
