ANX4

The ANX4 is a single-rack-space receiver that can run in either Axient Digital or ULX-D mode, though not both at the same time. It ships without active channels. Channels are enabled with perpetual licences sold in single- and four-channel increments, and a licence can later be removed from one ANX4 and activated on another through a ShureCloud account.

The tuning range runs from 174 MHz to 2 GHz, covering all Axient Digital and ULX-D bands except the ULX-D 902 MHz band. A 6.6-inch colour front-panel display shows a five-segment channel quality meter for RF signal-to-noise. A 1/4-inch headphone jack on the front supports monitoring with Dante Browse. Without licences the hardware can still be configured for channel count and names, scan and plan frequencies, check antennas and link transmitters for headphone audio tests, and send test audio over Dante.

Four coaxial RF antenna inputs cover multiple frequency bands and simplify antenna setup for large systems. Four Ethernet ports carry network control and Dante/AES67 digital audio output. The unit is managed with Shure Wireless Workbench, and a DC module version is available for redundant power.
